Foodexpo Herning review: Denmark discovers GATTINO’s “liquid gold”

The trade fair gates in Herning have closed, the suitcases are unpacked, but the energy of this extraordinary event is still resonating within our team. For Kalophagas, Foodexpo 2026 wasn’t just a date on the calendar, but a true milestone on our path to international expansion.

A home game for design and quality

We know that our products – from Messara PDO olive oil to our new balsamic creams – are delicious. But Foodexpo has once again confirmed that our attention to detail makes all the difference.

In the exclusive Gourmet Square section, the feedback from trade visitors was unequivocal: Our holistic design concept and the high-quality feel of our packaging resonated with the Scandinavian market, which is known for its strong appreciation of aesthetics. For us, as a provider of private label excellence, this is the greatest compliment.

Next stop: Danish trade and gastronomy

The most important result of these three intense days? We were not only able to have inspiring conversations, but also to get down to brass tacks.

We are thrilled to announce that GATTINO products will soon be available throughout Denmark.
